PT Nandhi Radja Nusantara is a company engaged in the field of leather products that produce wallets and bags. At PT Nandhi Radja has not developed a cultural concept and there is no engraving machine, the purpose of this Final Project is to develop an innovation concept of Semen Rama batik motif which means to grow, so that PT Nandhi Radja always grows and develops into a company that meets the segmentation of leather wallets that are favored by young consumers. Semen Rama batik motif also teaches the ideal attitude of a leader who describes young people in the future where young people will lead this nation.
The method used is a mixed method (Mixed Method) which combines quantitative and qualitative problem solving methods (Design Thinking) which consists of several stages, namely; Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test. In this Final Project the author uses engraving techniques on vegan leather media. Engraving techniques are interesting to follow up and be used as decoration on leather wallets for men with vegan leather. The development of the Semen Rama motif as a preservation of Indonesian culture is carried out by developing several motif elements such as bird motifs. From the five stages, the results of industrial validation and consumer validation were obtained, which stated that this product was good and liked by young consumers.
