Nazava started as an Indonesian social enterprise but decided to move to Singapore to increase impact at a global scale. Nazava is mentioned in the DBS-NUS list of 100 social enterprises to watch for in Asia.
In 2016 Nazava was semi-finalist in the DBS NUS Social Venture Challenge for Asia. In 2022 Nazava won the top prize in the Bayer Social Innovation Awards for Asia Pacific.
